Rhythmic gymnastics in Mauritius

I congratulate all the gymnasts, participation in a competition is already a small victory for all of them.

This detailed information is for parents only. Please decide by yourself  if you would like to share with your daughter her full results. Each girl will have a competition card showing her total score. Places will be indicated for the first 5 only for others only a total score.

Best Performer in "Dance" is Omala Patel from Etoile du Nord Gymnastics Club,

Best Performer in "Rope" is Clemence Lauret from Etoile du Nord Gymnastics Club.

Shania Farrell, from Birmingham Gymnastics Club UK was recently in Mauritius to prepare for British Championships in June, a presentation event was organised in Riviere du Rempart Youth Centre on 16th April, channell 11 MBC TV had interview with Shania and Iana and it was out on Monday, 22 April Sports Mag.

Due to the closure of Sporting Club in Pointe aux Canonniers end of march 2013, 

some changes will be effective from April 1st

Tuesday group 15:30-16:30 will be suspended until further notice, no lessons during April

Thursday groups 15:30-16:30 and 16:30-17:30 will be  rescheduled

for the same day- Thursday at 15:15-16:15 and 16:15-17:15 respectively at Riverland La Croisette

All groups will have Easter break from Thursday 11th April to Friday 19th April

Saturday live program Zenfan Soleil on  radio Kool Fm at 10am-11am  9 February

will be all about rhythmic gymnastics with 6 girls from Phoenix club participating. Don't miss! I wonder what they will be saying, as we had no questions given in advance!there will be no preparation- all on a spot!
